About Me

I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years and teaching for the last 10. My lessons are all about helping you build confidence, understand the fretboard, and actually enjoy the process of learning guitar. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player, lessons are tailored to your goals and ability.

Experience

I hold a degree in music and currently teach guitar at Jamm Studios in St Helens. Over the years, I’ve performed at weddings and events across the UK, and I’ve taught everyone from complete beginners to advanced players looking to refine their skills.

Styles I Teach

I teach a wide range of styles, including pop, rock, and blues, with a particular love for jazz, funk, and soul. Lessons can focus on rhythm playing, lead guitar, improvisation, songwriting, or simply learning your favourite songs, whatever keeps you motivated and inspired.

Having also studied classical guitar, I’m highly skilled in fingerstyle playing as well as using a pick, giving you the flexibility to develop

strong technique in any style.
